E-workshop on “Gender and Social Empowerment: Depiction of women in media”
Since 1985, Multiple Action Research Group (MARG) pioneer on legal empowerment of disadvantaged and marginalized groups through legal awareness, socio-legal research, advocacy initiatives and legal aid. MARG works across the country on issues of marginalized communities including women, children, dalits, tribals, poor, labours, unorganized women workers etc.
In this interactive discussion with Dr. Mausimi Bhatacharyya (Ph.D, Associate Professor), we are trying to explore how depiction of women in media be it positive or negative can be helpful in amplifying the issues related to gender and social empowerment.
